We have gathered a list of Sites that we think are important to read prior to your arrival in the city. You will get an understanding or what's hot, what's new what to do, what to avoid etc.
The most important guides of all, is information that Matt Barret has gathered over the years in visiting Greece. We believe that he covers a lot of issues from what to eat and find hidden places that tourists don't know about and are worth exploring. Take a look at:

Another site that has a wealth of information, no.2 in our rank, is Athens Info:

We think you'll love the Greek Ministry of Culture site! In there you will find almost everything you are seeking!

Supermarkets:
There are three mid-sized supermarkets within walking distance (3-5 mins), and there is a huge one 1,5 kilometer away (sorry, best ones are always hard to get to)
Restaurants - Cafe:
No problem with that - there are numerous restaurants, souvlaki houses and pizza places in walking distance, plus we keep a record with their telephone numbers for delivery!
If making coffee in the morning is not your style then there are a number of small cafes plus a Starbucks, just around the corner.
There are also two very good pastry shops, with excellent pastries and a very good bakery nearby (great cheesepies), which opens from 6.00 in the morning.
Hair Salons :
There is one just down the road 3 minutes on foot.
Gas stations:
Three, one in the corner of Agiou Tryfonos and the others just down the road of Archipelagous.
How far from the Airport and Ports:
From the airport, it's around 35-40 minutes, depending on traffic. From the port, it solely depends on traffic, we would say around 45-50 minutes.
Buses, metro:
On the main street, at apartment level there is a bus service to the metro. The bus drops you off at the metro entrance.
If you want to go directly to Athens, then you can walk up to the Agios Tryfonas church (5 minutes walk) and get the local bus that will drop you in the main streets of Athens, The National Garden and Academias str.
1ST AND 2ND APARTMENT FLOORS FOR SALE
We have put up for sale two apartment floors and below you will find a wealth of information about them:
Characteristics:
The first and second floors are identical in size. Each one is 150 square meters and have: - Three bedrooms, consisting of one master bedroom with its own balcony and the two others with a large unified balcony. - Two bathrooms, a big one with two sinks, and a small one with shower and one sink + socket for washing machine. - Open kitchen, connected with the living room separated by a stand. - Large living room with fireplace - Big balcony that surrounds the apartment. - Autonomous heating, TV-monitored entrance.
Each floor has a parking space. Access to all floors is through a 6-person wide hydraulic elevator, or via marble stairs.
Where do the apartments differ?
First Floor: The entire building was built around 1987 but we finished only the first floor internally, as it used to be our primary residence. Living room, kitchen hallway are covered with white marble from the Dionyssos mountain in Attica. The entrance door is ironclad and has a safety lock.
In addition, the fireplace has aerothermal pipes - that means that when you light it up, (with normal wood, no gas) it brings in outside cold air and heats it and pushes it to the living room. No smell is present.
The cupboards and the kitchen are rather old and used - if you want a more modern outfit you have to replace them. However they function perfectly, and never had a problem (old makes are always better!)
Second Floor: the second floor was build later in 1997, so it's more modern. Instead of marble, it has ceramic tiles in the living room, kitchen and hallway.
Other than that they are completely the same.
How much to buy?
First floor: 399,000 Euros Second floor: 441,000 Euros
