Momchilovtsi is widely popular as a base for skiing & snowboarding and is located very close to the modern and well-established ski resorts of Pamporovo and Chepelare.

Pamporovo is the sunniest mountain resort in Bulgaria and lies in the heart of the stunning pine forests of the Rhodope Mountains. It is overlooked by the majestic Snezhanka Tower. It is visable from the house and although Pamporovo is only 6km away, by road it is 14 km to Pamporovo and 15km to Chepelare.

Whether you are looking for an outdoor activities holiday, artistic inspiration or simply rest and relaxation and an escape from everyday life. Momchilovtsi has something for everyone throughout the four seasons of the year.

The snowboard park in Momchilovtsi was opened in in 2005 and has faciliites to provide hot & alcoholic refreshments, snacks and "apres ski" activities. The spectacular scenery and relaxed air of the village cannot fail to give inspiration to writers and is a paradise for painters and photographers. You can also go walking & hiking, mountain biking, climbing, guided walks, trekking, with many places of interest to visit. It is also the ideal place to simply enjoy rest & relaxation and to escape from the pressures and pace of everyday life.

There are several good family-run restaurants serving a variety of local and English foods in Momchilovtsi village and many corner shops with fresh vegetables and fruit, most of it organic and locally grown, all just a few minutes from the house. The water in Momchilovtsi is also safe to drink.

The house is over four floors and whether your party is for 2, 4 or more people it is designed to allow for the privacy of your own space with dedicated lounge,dining & with kitchen facilities.

Four Seasons Retreat can accommodate 14+ people in the bedrooms and, including the three sofa-beds in the lounges for larger parties, it can sleep up to 20 people. It is available for use by singles, couples, families,small and large groups.

The entrance to the house is from the main door at the top of the house at road level. All rooms on each floor are accessed from the central staircase which runs from the top to bottom of the house.

The bedrooms and open plan lounges/kitchens/dining rooms are located on each floor and are allocated to ensure that visitors have sole use of the rooms reserved for them.

The nearest bank is at present in Smolyan but a cashpoint is currently being installed in Momchilovtsi. This will be very helpful asset for the village as not many places in Bulgaria take credit cards and most payments have to be made in cash.
