About Momchilovtsi and the surrounding area:

Momchilovtsi is a large village with a very good infrastructure.  It has
Internet connection, a Town Hall, a Post Office, and several Hotels,
Restaurants and shops and it is only a 20 minute drive to Smolyan, the nearest
town.
There is also a Fun (Snowboard) Park just outside the village for winter and

The  road access to/from Momchilovtsi is already very good and its location 
benefits from the international road which passes the village by 3 km giving  
greater access to Greece from Momchilovtsi and Bulgaria
The first of the two border crossing from this area at Zlatograd is already
open and the journey from Momchilovtsi to Mediterranean Sea takes about 2
hours. The second border crossing at Rudozem will be opening at in 2012.

There are several new projects planned for the area surrounding Momchilovtsi
which include:
. A new golf course about 15mins drive from the village
. The linking of the 3 main ski resorts of Chepelare, Pamporovo and
Perelik Mountain   making Pamporovo the largest skiing resort in Bulgaria
. The new mountain resort at the foot of Mount Perelik is the highest
peak of the Rhodope Mountains. As early as the next year the building of a
new, all-year-round mountain complex resort will start.
With this new road and the new projects the area will have many summer and
winter sporting and leisure activities and places of interest to visit.  For
